Cheryl Evans - Owner & Director - Podiatrist

'My name is Cheryl, and I am the Owner and Podiatrist at Denby Dale Podiatry.

I graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry. Since then, I have built over 20 years of experience, including 16 years working within the NHS. During this time, I have developed specialist interests in routine podiatry/chiropody care, diabetes and high-risk foot care, and nail surgery.

I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a proud member of the Royal College of Podiatry. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly update my skills to ensure I provide the most current and effective treatments for my patients.

I am also a Dementia Friend and have a particular passion for supporting patients living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. I work closely with families and carers to provide compassionate, tailored care, and I have extensive experience working within nursing and residential home settings.

I truly love what I do. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is hearing a patient say, “I feel like I’m walking on air” after their treatment — it’s a feeling I strive to achieve for every patient I see.

I live locally to Denby Dale with my husband and our two young daughters. You might notice that the Denby Dale Podiatry logo features two small footprints — these belong to my girls, which makes it extra special to me.

I’m also a lifelong Huddersfield Town supporter (since the age of 7!), so you’ll often find us at the Accu Stadium on a Saturday afternoon!
